Iris Mosaic Class at Stamping Buddies in Cincinnati

Check out this gorgeous iris paper . . . wouldn't it be perfect for Easter pictures or even spring garden pictures?  I know everyone had a lot of early bloomers this year - now you can preserve those memories!  Trust me, the pictures of this paper simply don't do it justice. 

I designed this layout for a class I will be teaching at Stamping Buddies in Cincinnati, OH (near the Kenwood Mall) on Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

As with all Mosaic Classes, you will need the specially designed Mosaic Moments cutting mat (which will be available for purchase at the store), a craft knife, cork-backed metal ruler, and Dotto repositionable adhesive.

Class Offering at Red Letter Journals

Exciting News Ladies!  I will be teaching this adorable Riley the Moose "Movie Night" layout at Red Letter Journals in Grove City (outside Columbus), OH.   (You will LOVE this store!)

The class will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.  Please call the store to register.

The cost of the class is $20 if you already have your mat and tools.  If you still need a Mosaic Moments Cutting Mat, RLJ is offering a great deal $30 for the mat and ruler.  (Remember the Mosaic Moments Cutting Mat is necessary for the measurements to fit the grid!)

You will need to bring:
Cutting Mat
15" Cork-backed Metal Ruler (12" will work if you already have one)
Craft Knife
Dotto Repositionable Adhesive (Yes, Dotto brand and YES repositionable)
Markers to color the Riley the Moose elements - I used Copic markers, but any you have will be fine.

Red Letter Journals and I will supply:
Scarlet Grid Paper
Popcorn Paper
White and Black Bazzill Cardstock
Riley Stamps for use during class

NEW CLASS OFFERING - BLOCK PARTY!!!

Tami Potter is offering her consultants a GREAT opportunity to teach our students the classes that she taught her students at Creating Keepsakes Conventions across the country in 2010.  This layout is called "block party" because ot the block style layout.  There is an adorable quote on the page that says "If we were meant to pop out of bed, we would all sleep in toasters."  This class would be a great way to learn the mosaic technique.  I would love to share it with you.  The cost of this class is only $13 (starter tool kit not included).

NEW CLASS OFFERING - CLOVER CLASS

This is another great layout designed and taught by Tami Potter herself at the 2010 Creating Keepsakes Conventions across the country.  As you can see - this involves using close-up photos in a mosaic pattern to mat and frame your photographs.  I have a lot of great ideas about how I would use this layout.  Obviously it would be great for St. Patrick's Day, Celtic Festival or Irish Dance scrapbook layouts.  But, I'm thinking I would use for a page of things I'm "lucky" to have in my life - special people, special places, favorite things, etc.  What do you have in mind? Schedule a class with me for only $13 (not including starter tool kit).  

NEW CLASS OFFERING - FAMILY TREE

Yup, you guessed it, another Tami Potter CKC Class!  This one was designed to show off photos of your own family tree and features a lot of 1" mosaic photo squares on the left side and 2 1/8" squares on the right.  Maybe you could show off a family crest or heritage photo of your grandparents in that center 4 3/8" square.  What other ideas can you come up with?  Cost of this layout is $13 (not including the starter kit).

NEW CLASS OFFERING - PURPLE FLORAL

I can't tell you enough how much I love the lattice cornerstones Tami Potter used in this pinwheel style layout.  I think this design would be fabulous to showcase any number of spring or summer pictures.  It offers a variety of mat sizes - both portrait and landscape.  With all of the small 1" photo tiles, this would be an excellent beginner level class to learn the mosaic technique.  Cost of class $13 (not including starter tool kit).
