Tuesdays are for Techniques - Page Patterns

As a member of Tami Potter's Mosaic Moments Design Team, one of the bi-monthly challenges involves an assigned pattern. 

This month's assigned pattern is Page Pattern 29- the Fifteen Spot Page -

Have you ever used a page pattern to design a layout?  Or do you prefer freestyle?  I am a huge fan of page patterns - but I highly prefer the double-page layouts.  In addition to Tami Potter's book "Designing Photo Mosaics and More," there are 52 page patterns, which can be found online: http://tamipotter.typepad.com/page_patterns/
